As we were leaving for the day and going towards the elevator, we saw a hotel employee on the floor who said 'Hello' and had a smile on her face (she seemed liked a supervisor) which was nice Valet and baggage / bellmen were outstanding. I want to give the Rio and this room another chance in the future but I want to make sure the main reason I book the room works before I get there and I'm not sure if that is possible. That was really disappointing to not have that whirlpool spa. We decided to use the whirlpool spa the next night and after filling it up, realized it didn't work. The room is larger than our house, so it was luxury for us.room has three separate 'areas' and a sauna. We have stayed at the Rio before and I was ready for something a little more, so we booked the Mardi Gras Suite based on the whirlpool spa in the room.
